We are at the final stages of securing access to land for a Sports Hub that netball clubs and players can use at Hook Road in Epsom.
To support our young girls and women in sport please comment on Epsom and Ewell Borough Council's Local Plan with remarks on how great it would be for Epsom and Ewell to offer a Sports Hub with Netball Facilities.
The benefits of supporting netball as a sport for all in the local community encourages a wider community to play on a central indoor/outdoor venue with all the physical, emotional and social wellbeing benefits that would create.
Also any mention of support for the allocation in the Local Plan would be great as a new indoor/outdoor sports facility would reduce travel time and create a home for our netball community to meet organise, interact. learn and grow.
