Junior Club Registration Form 2026/27

The Downs is an ambitious club who understands that getting to the top is a long journey and starts with loving what you do first! This means developing a high level of basic skills, understanding how to get fit, as well as developing good connections with your teams mates on and off the court.

The Junior section of the Club includes 10 & Unders, Under 11’s, Under 12’s, Under 13’s and U14’s.

Selection

At The Downs subs pay for facilities and coaching at training.  We offer skill development and match play in every session for every member but we cannot guarantee league matches for everyone, on every occasion.  We select teams based on performance but also your availability and willingness to want to play not just as an individual but also in combination with other players on the court and consideration of the opposition. For those not selected for matches we aim to run training sessions as a replacement (depending on coach and court availability).

Subs for 2026/27 Full Season cost £330 include;

1. Entry into leagues.
2. All training from Sept to March.
3. Coaching from Sept to March.
4. Equipment, Balls Bibs and first aid.
5. Overall Costs of running The Downs Netball Club.

Additional subs will be required for U14/U13 performance additional training. 

We are a Community interest company so any profit the club makes is reinvested into the club and we rely on volunteers to keep the club running.

There are a number of things that the club does NOT fund and we still require help and volunteers to deliver netball for our players. If you are able to help out please get in touch.

1. Match day helpers to score and time
2. Team Managers
3. Volunteers to help run the admin/membership of the club (e.g. booking umpires, signing players up)

Junior Training for U14, U13, U12, U11 and U10’s

Training is held on Sundays 10-11.30am at St John’s Leatherhead. KT22 7JD. First session back is on the 30th August 2025.

ALL Downs players must have an England Netball Membership in order to participate. Please go here to join England Netball.  This can be done from the 31st August 2026. More info in welcome letter.
