Junior Club Registration & New Starter Form 2024/25

The Downs is an ambitious club who understands that getting to the top is a long journey and starts with loving what you do first! This means developing a high level of basic skills, understanding how to get fit, as well as developing good connections with your teams mates on and off the court.

The Junior section of the Club includes 10 & Unders. Under 11’s, Under 12’s, Under 13’s and U14 Development Squad.

Selection

At The Downs subs pay for facilities and coaching at training.  We offer skill development and match play in every session for every member but we cannot guarantee league matches for everyone, on every occasion.  We select teams based on your availability and willingness to want to play not just as an individual but also in combination with other players on the court and consideration of the opposition.

Subs for 2024/25 Season cost £330 include;

1. Entry into leagues.
2. All training from Sept to March.
3. Coaching from Sept to March.
4. Match venue hire.
5. Umpire fees.
6. Equipment, Balls Bibs and first aid.
7. Match Fees.
8. Overall Costs of running The Downs Netball Club.

There are a number of things that the club does NOT fund and we still require help and volunteers to deliver netball for our players.

1. Match day helpers to score and time; or help run a team.
2. Running after match Teas.
3. Team Managers.
4. First Aid (Qualified First Aiders.)

Junior Training for U14Development Squad, U13, U12. U11 and U10’s

Training is held on Sundays 10-11.30am at St John’s Leatherhead. KT22 7JD. First session back is on the 1st SEPT 2024.

U14 Performance players will train on Thursdays at Epsom College from 7.30-9.30 starting Thursday the 5th Sept. Training is indoors and players will fall under the youth section of the club.

ALL Downs players must have an England Netball Membership first in order to participate. Please go here to join England Netball.  Once you have done this,  please complete your registration below and pay your subscription.
