At The Downs Netball Club, we believe great coaching changes lives.
As one of the country’s leading performance clubs, we offer a genuine player pathway that takes athletes from their very first steps in netball through to Premier League competition. Throughout every stage of that journey, our philosophy remains the same: Love the Game.
We are ambitious and competitive. We play to win, but never at the expense of player development. Everything we do is built around one simple belief:
Focus on performance and the results take care of themselves.
We believe success starts with exceptional coaching. Players first need a foundation of high-quality skills, confidence and enjoyment, supported by great teammates and coaches who inspire them to become the best version of themselves.
Our coaching pathway is just as exciting as our player pathway. Whether you enjoy introducing young children to netball for the first time or helping talented youth and senior players perform at the highest level, there is a place for you at Downs.
As part of our coaching team, you’ll benefit from:
- A clear coaching pathway from grassroots to Premier League Netball.
- Support from our dedicated Strength & Conditioning Coach.
- A collaborative coaching environment with an active WhatsApp group where ideas, advice and experiences are shared across the club.
- The opportunity to work alongside experienced coaches who are passionate about developing both players and coaches.
If you’re an experienced coach, looking to begin your coaching journey, or simply want to find out more about coaching at Downs, we’d love to hear from you.
To find out more, or for an informal chat, please contact Natalie or Mel. We’d love to welcome you to the Downs family.
