The pathway at The Downs is designed to help ambitious talented players to reach their full potential. It starts from Year 9 at school, when players are given the chance to play in adult leagues. This transition is guided by experienced coaches who instil a high standard of core skills and high expectations of physical fitness.
From this foundation players can fulfil their potential and be the best they can be. Our highly qualified coaches have coached and played to national and international level and understand the commitment and importance of enjoying the journey. The Downs prides itself on encouraging and supporting our youngsters to elite level netball and giving them the opportunity to play in County, Regional and National Leagues. We have helped over 50 players achieve Superleague level netball with many players going on to represent England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
